BLUE SUEDE SHOES

YOU SAY BLUE SUEDE SHOES I SAY BLUE SAFARI BOOTS

Royal swag and a notorious pair of blue suede kicks in tow, the UK's younger prince Harry of Wales rocked the crowds in Jamaica during the Diamond Jubilee Commonwealth countries tour with a taste of his royal hiney in motion. While I'd love to dwell on the dance moves, I shan’t for the sake of brevity. (It must however be said that that white-boy-gone-jungle move never gets old - thumbs up for the extra crotch action at the end).

A brief history perhaps: The Diamond Jubilee of the queen is the celebration of her 60th year in reign which is being marked by a series of celebrations all year long throughout the Commonwealth nations. These are by definition (according to those savvy journalists down at CBS), former colonies of the British empire that “share a continued allegiance to the crown”…My sources however define them simply as former colonies of the empire that periodically come together in mawkish celebration of the notion of some glorious past that unites them, but from which they so fervently (note the red colour on some of their flags) fought to free themselves of/from... One wonders what grandpa would think considering the atrocit(sic)...but I digress.

Back to the important stuff.

Them blue suede shoes are kicking...and it must be said are notably similar to those of one commonwealth nations' treasured national shoe box but who's checking. Dance on my young prince, dance on.

And on another unrelated note - not to hate on history but darn those sickly, sexy vampire looking princes of Monaco...if only one could choose ones colonizers!
